The official unveiling of the painting “Festival de Uniones” by Veronica Yazmin took place at the United States Consulate in Guadalajara on Thursday.
Present were the artist (right), along with U.S. Consul General Daniel Keller. The painting, commissioned and paid for by consular officials, symbolizes the cultural ties between the United States and Mexico. Yazmin lives in Guadalajara and is married to a U.S. citizen. The painting is on display in the visa application section of the Consulate.
