Azucena Becerra Vazquez, 21, will take pride of place in Sunday’s International Mariachi Festival parade, after she was chosen to be this year’s festival ambassador. Guadalajara-born Becerra defeated ten other candidates to win the crown at the Degollado Theater last week.
