Actor Alan Jordan presents 'House' at Teatro Diana

Alan Jordan, an award-winning Canadian actor now living in San Miguel de Allende, presents a short season of “House,” the one-man comedy by accomplished Canadian playwright Daniel Macivor, at the Estudio Diana over the next three Fridays.

The English-language “House” concerns Victor, a loser on the edge. Macivor’s dark and funny work takes the audience on a whirlwind tour of the offices, circus tents, supermarkets, Ramada Inns, sewers, dreams and houses that compose the hallucinatory landscape of his life.

Jordan studied at the famed Neighborhood PlayHouse School of Theater in New York and has many stage credits to his name. He has appeared in more than 100 film and television productions, including Hill Street Blues, Dallas, Falcon Crest, Knight Rider, Fall Guy, Friday 13th and The Young and the Restless.

The Estudio Diana is the intimate smaller annex of the Teatro Diana (Av. 16 Septiembre 710). Show times for “House” are Friday, November 15, 8:30 p.m.; Friday, November 22, 8:30 p.m. and Friday, November 29, 8:30 p.m.
