Lakeside jazz fans who abstain from venturing into Guadalajara for stellar shows due to the prospect of a late-night drive home have no excuses next week.
Plaza Andares, the city’s most upscale mall, has teamed up with the Jalisco Jazz Festival 2017 for an all-day presentation on Thursday, July 20, from 2-10 p.m.
Organizers say around 30 groups from various countries will perform throughout the day.
Although known for its range of fashion outlets and Liverpool and Puerto de Hierro department stores, Andares also boasts plenty of other shopping options, and some first-rate dining choices. A Walmart is located handily adjacent to the mall.
Unlike other city malls, Andares allows patrons to be accompanied by their dogs (must be pre-registered) and has underground valet parking. For more information about the mall, see andares.com.
