Unlike, say, the Flying Burrito Brothers or the Moody Blues, Pink Floyd’s music never seems to completely go out of style;
you’re just as likely to see a 12-year-old sporting a Dark Side of the Moon t-shirt as you are an AARP recipient clad in the same garb.
So the news that Roger Waters, singer, bass player and lead songwriter for Pink Floyd from the band’s inception to around 1985, is slated to perform in Guadalajara later this year should be music to ears of all ages.
Aside from his gig at the VFG Arena in Guadalajara on Tuesday, December 4, Waters will also be playing shows at CDMX’s Palacio de Deportes, Wednesday, November 28 and Monterrey’s main sports arena, Saturday, December 8.
Tickets for the events, from 680 to 3,980 pesos, will be sold on the Ticketmaster website beginning February 21. Presale, limited to Citibanamex card-holders, will occur February 19 and 20.
