Folk dance
The 2018 season of one of Mexico’s premier dance groups, the University of Guadalajara’s Ballet Folclorico, is concluding. Founded in 1960, the acclaimed troupe is currently made up of about 168 singers, dancers and musicians.

Bertrand de Billy conducts Laurent Pelly’s imaginative storybook production.

Shen Yun
The Shen Yun company brings to life 5,000 years of Chinese civilization, dynasties and legends through classical Chinese dance and music in an exhilarating show. After receiving rave reviews in previous years, the Ballet de Jalisco returns with seven presentations of the ballet “The Hunchback of Notre-Dame,” featuring the music of Rachmaninoff, Tchaikowsky, Wolf-Ferrari, Saint-Säenz, Moniuszko, and Khachaturian. Choreography is by troupe director Dariusz Blajer.
