The acclaimed Israel Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1988 by the municipality of Rishon LeZion and became the resident orchestra of the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv just a year later. Works to be played in Guadalajara are by Lavry, Elgar and Dvorak.

Swan Lake

GR RECOMMENDS: Georgia National Ballet
Prestigious dance troupe from Eastern Europe presents “Khorumi,” a traditional war dance that originated in the region of Adjara, located in the southwestern region of Georgia. The dance was originally performed by only a few men. However, over time it has grown in scale. In today’s version of the Khorumi, 30 or 40 dancers can participate. The dance was inscribed on the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Georgia list in 2013.
