Ballet star picks up another award

Guadalajara’s Isaac Hernández, a lead principal with the English National Ballet, was honored this week, receiving a special “Lunas del Auditorio” award, bestowed annually by Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional for the best live performances of the year.

The 28-year-old, who has given several performances of his show “Despertares” at the venue, featuring dozens of renowned international ballet dancers, received a standing ovation for over a minute when he took to the stage to accept his award.
