Continental orchestra
The Orchestra of the Americas (Orquesta de las Américas) is a pan-American symphony of top musicians, ages 18 to 30, representing 25-plus countries in the Western Hemisphere.
The orchestra’s mission is to empower rising musical leaders to transform lives across the Americas and beyond.

Folk dance
The acclaimed Ballet Folclórico de la Universidad de Guadalajara returns to the stage for a short summer season. Take a journey from pre-Hispanic times, through various states, including Michoacan and Veracruz, to the epic and emotive Jalisco finale.

Del Toro film scores
A one-off concert featuring the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra (OFJ) planned in tandem with film director Guillermo del Toro’s “Monsters” exhibit currently running at the Museo de las Artes. The orchestra will perform music from the soundtracks of many of Del Toro’s films.

Brazilian crooner, who sings primarily in English, presents romantic songs, including ”From Russia With Love,” “Just the Way You Are,” “La Vie En Rose,” “More Than I Can Bear” and others.

Lindsey Sterling
U.S. violinist, singer and songwriter who presents choreographed violin performances, both live and in music videos found on her eponymous YouTube channel, which she created in 2007. Stirling performs a variety of music styles, from classical to pop and rock to electronic dance music. Aside from original work, her discography contains covers of songs by other musicians and various sound tracks.

Jerome Jennings Quartet
The Jazz At Lincoln Center series continues with a performance by a quartet led by drummer Jerome Jennings who has played every major jazz club in New York City from The Village Vanguard, Birdland and The BlueNote, to Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola. Internationally he’s performed in over 45 countries. In the fall of 2017, Jennings accepted the position as resident director of The Juilliard Jazz Orchestra.
