Talented musicians of different genres showcased each Monday. July 29: the Jhoe Garay jazz quintet from New York.  August 12: Cellist Miguel Ángel Villeda Cerón and pianist Saul Ibarra. August 19: Pianist Eduardo Preciado Becerra. August 26: Janus Quartet.

Contemporary dance


The International Contemporary Dance Gala features well-known foreign and national dance companies, including the Hamburg Dance Company, FDR Dance (Rotterdam) and Contempodanza (Mexico City).

Folk dance


The acclaimed Ballet Folclórico de la Universidad de Guadalajara continues its summer season at the majestic Teatro Degollado – its spiritual home.  Take a journey from pre-Hispanic times, through various states, including Michoacan and Veracruz, to the epic and emotive Jalisco finale.

Daniel Boaventura

Brazilian crooner, who sings primarily in English, presents romantic songs, including ”From Russia With Love,” “Just the Way You Are,” “La Vie En Rose,” “More Than I Can Bear” and others.

Jesus Christ Superstar

Lindsey Sterling


U.S. violinist, singer and songwriter who presents choreographed violin performances, both live and in music videos found on her eponymous YouTube channel, which she created in 2007. Stirling performs a variety of music styles, from classical to pop and rock to electronic dance music. Aside from original work, her discography contains covers of songs by other musicians and various sound tracks.

Fernando Delgadillo


Popular Mexican folk singer performs his greatest hits in a concert marking 20 years since a landmark gig in the Parque Naucalli in Mexico City, which was later remastered into two albums.

Jerome Jennings Quartet

The Jazz At Lincoln Center series continues with a performance by a quartet led by drummer Jerome Jennings who has played every major jazz club in New York City from The Village Vanguard, Birdland and The BlueNote, to Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola. Internationally he’s performed in over 45 countries. In the fall of 2017, Jennings accepted the position as resident director of The Juilliard Jazz Orchestra.

The 50th anniversary tour of famed English rock band, known primarily for their acclaimed debut album “In the Court of the Crimson King,” which fused elements of jazz, classical and experimental music. Original  band member Robert Fripp remains, along with Mel Collins, who joined the band in 1970, a year after its formation.
