Crafts expo to open at Tlaquepaque’s Refugio Center

The 60th edition of Expo EnArt, a trade show featuring a comprehensive range of Mexican crafts, gifts and decorative items, takes place from Tuesday, February 14, through Saturday, February 18, at the Centro Cultural El Refugio in Tlaquepaque.

Some 150 exhibitors from 12 Mexican states will show up at this popular event in the lively crafts suburb of Guadalajara. Among the media on display will be wood, glass, papier-mâché, jewelry, ceramics, textile, fiber and leather, as well as metalwork in iron, tin and pewter.

Although geared primarily to wholesale sales, the general public may also attend the exposition on its final two days and purchase items.  Registration to attend the show can be made at enart.com.mx, where you will find further information. No registration is required on Friday and Saturday. The Centro Cultural El Refugio is located at Donato Guerra 160, three blocks from the Tlaquepaque’s central plaza. Open from 10 a.m. daily.
