A major photography exhibition showcasing the work of two legendary German photojournalists, Erich Salomon and Barbara Klemm, is now on display at the Ex Convento del Carmen in Guadalajara.
Titled “Salto en el tiempo” (Time Jump), the exhibit features iconic images that captured crucial historical moments with unmatched technical and narrative mastery.
Salomon, active from the late 1920s, was known for revealing intimate, unguarded moments of political figures, while Klemm documented contemporary history across Germany and beyond.
The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Goethe Institute and the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen. Admission is free.
The exhibit runs through August 16, with hours: Tuesday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
