Arturo Aceves, owner and operator of Posada Restaurante Los Crotos in San Luis Soyatlan (Ramon Corona 31) on Lake Chapala’s south shore, will host the second annual gala art exhibition reception on Sunday, November 4.
The show will feature original works by ten well-known artists from Guadalajara and the Lakeside area. The artists are Cornelio Garcia, Luis Valsoto, Kathy Seaboyer, Efren Gonzalez, Pat Apt, DePaul Durham, Xilotl, Francisco Gonzalez, Juan Navarro and Enrique Gonzalez Vidrio.
The free opening reception, beginning at 2 p.m. will offer a welcoming cocktail and snacks. A buffet lunch will also be available for only 70 pesos. Reservations are requested for the buffet or, if you wish, for rooms at the charming inn. Call (376) 764-0067.
For something different, consider taking the water taxi from the Ajijic pier. It’s about a five-block walk from the dock in San Luis Soyatlan to Los Crotos.
