It takes three to tango at Chapala Train Station

Catarsis Piano Trio will perform a lively repertoire of tango tunes by famed Argentinian composer Aztor Piazzolla in a one-night appearance slated for Saturday, November 17, 6 p.m. at Chapala’s Centro Cultural Gonzalez Gallo (CCGG).

The trio is made up by Julieta Azalea Beltran Lara on piano, Yalissa Cruz Espino on cello and Ajijic native Diego Rojas Miramontes on violin.

Tickets are priced at 150 pesos per person. Proceeds from the concert will support the CCGG Escuela de Iniciación Artística, a children’s education program for induction into the arts that is affiliated with Mexico’s National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA). More than 80 local youngsters are currently enrolled in courses to develop talents in plastic and visual arts, music, dance and theater.
