Just in time for something light in the hot weather, Lakeside Little Theatre (LLT) will open the slick but farcical comedy “Not Now Darling” on Saturday, March 23.
Written by Ray Cooney and John Chapman, the play is set in an exclusive British fur salon of the 1960s. The story covers all the comedic necessities of suspicious wives, philandering husbands, mistaken identities and scantily clad girlfriends, delivered fresh in a saucy, sophisticated style, racy but fun.
Shirley Appelbaum is directing, assisted by her husband Sandy Appelbaum. The stage manager is Karen Lee. The cast includes Collette Clavadetscher, Chet Beeswanger, Florette Schnelle, Michael Warren, Fred Koesling, Georgette Richmond, Peter Luciano, Elisabeth Cathcart, Orry Robb, Beryl Dorscht and Candace Luciano.Tickets are 200 pesos and go on sale Thursday and Friday, March 21 and 22, 10 a.m. to noon at the theater box office. The box office will be open at that time each day of the run (through March 31) and one hour before curtain. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. except on Sunday when the matinee begins at 3 p.m.
Arrive early for the best parking and enjoy the full service bar on the Angel Patio that opens one hour before the curtain.
