The extraordinary performance company Sonidos y Movimientos de Mexico will perform Thursday, June 19 to mark the inauguration of the new outdoor public events forum located on the eastern leg of the Chapala Malecón. The free event will start at 6:30 p.m.
More than a run-of-the-mill ballet folklorico show, the program entitled “El Mariachi, Patrimony of Humanity” is a colorful extravaganza that portrays Mexico’s cultural history through varied dance and musical genres. The troupe is comprised of more than 50 performers.
