The legendary music icon Luis Gasca and his All Star Band, featuring Canadian Juno award winner, vocalist Johnny Favorite, will play The Spotlight Club Wednesday and Thursday, February 6 and 7.
The band, including Gabriel Hernandez, Diego Flores, Adrian Flores, Gasca and Favorite, will present a tribute to Miles Davis and Carlos Santana in a Sally Carlisle Production.
From Woodstock to the Monterey Jazz Festival, Gasca has toured and recorded with some of the biggest names in music. He has broken musical barriers, and crossed over several genres establishing him as one of greatest contributors to music history.
A trumpet player, composer and conductor, Gasca has played and recorded with Janis Joplin, Carlos Santana (3rd and 4th albums), Count Basie, Van Morrison, Herbie Hancock, Winton Marsalis and Stan Kenton, to name a few.
