Musicals are popular at Lakeside Little Theatre and the revue “Side By Side By Lakeside” is no exception.
The revue, directed by Ann Swiston (with Assistant Director Dave McIntosh), features music by composers Stephen Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Rogers and Hammerstein.
This showcase makes it clear we have many talented performers here at Lake Chapala!
The show opens with four songs from “Oklahoma,” including “Oh What a Beautiful Morning” sung by Brian Mathers. Mathers is featured throughout the show and is a fabulous singer. The ensemble does a great job with this opener as well, singing out the rousing refrain. This segment also gives us a fun tap-dance version of “Kansas City” by Robert Fineman.
