Bare Stage Theatre: Supermarket showdowns and witty car journeys

Prepare for an afternoon of uproarious theater with “Durang and Deranged,” a dazzling showcase of plays that deliver gut-busting comedy. Featuring a sharp scene from Christopher Durang’s “Beyond Therapy,” two hilarious David Ives gems — “Sure Thing” and “Philip Glass Buys a Loaf of Bread” — plus a witty car ride between two guys, and a chaotic supermarket showdown, this is a masterclass in hilarity.

The talented cast of Anna Dresdon, Peter James, Jeff Kingsbury, Deborah Kloegman, Kathleen Pharis and Roberta Rubin brings these plays to life under the direction of Maureen O’Hearn, Pam Landon Pettus, Roberta Rubin, Lisa Safran and Roseann Wilshere.
