CREM Music School in Ajijic is celebrating 35 years of teaching music to children and youth of the Ribera de Chapala with a dinner concert on Friday, November 14, at La Nueva Posada, Donato Guerra 9 in Ajijic.
The evening includes raffles, an art auction, dinner (5 p.m.), and a concert (6 p.m.). Tickets are 1,000 pesos and available at La Nueva Posada.
Proceeds will benefit the scholarship program at this regional center for musical studies, founded in 1990 by Victor Manuel Medeles. Several generations of students have passed through CREM’s doors, many of whom have become internationally recognized musicians.
“Friends of CREM” aims to bring together individuals passionate about music and the arts to form a support network for this important project.
