LLT

Canadian playwright Peter Colley, who penned “I’ll Be Back Before Midnight,” opening at Lakeside Little Theatre (LLT) on Saturday, November 3, will visit the theater during the run of the show and will probably appear at the cast party on the last day of the performances.

Ken Yakiwchuk, Collette Clavdetcher, Mark Bennet and Candace Luciano form the cast for seasoned director Roseann Wilshere.

Colley’s decision to come to the area to see how LLT interprets his work appears to be part of his “round the world” tour to community theaters.

Tickets for the play, which runs until November 11, go on sale Thursday and Friday, November 1 and 2, 10 a.m. to noon and each day at the same time during the run as well as one hour before the 7:30 p.m. curtain. Sing-along

The second season of the popular weekly sing-along resumes Monday, November 5, 2-3 p.m. at the Lake Chapala Society (LCS). The purpose of the sing-along is to give the brain a one-hour workout by energizing its parts that activate memory, rhythm, speech, melody, pitch and emotion. The songs are mostly from the 50s and 60s, from “The Sound of Music” to “Mack the Knife” and so on. As this is a lighthearted exercise program, all levels of vocal fitness are welcome. It is free and open to members and non-members of LCS. For more information call Antonia Zivot at 766-3359.
