Bare Stage

Bare Stage Theatre’s next production is “Scenes From American Life” by A.R. Gurney.

“Scenes from American Life” is a youthful look at the hypocrisy of adult life, told through a series of vignettes spanning four decades, ending in 1981 and involving over 100 characters in WASP-y New England. It journeys through the mid-century to a prophetic future, which, turns out to be today!

Rosann Balbontin directs Mark Donaldson, Sharon Jarvis, Kathleen Morris, Roxanne Rosenblatt, Tony Wilshere and Ken Yakiwchuk in interchanging roles playing adults and their own children.

Shows are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 24, 25 and 26. Doors open 3 p.m., curtain is at 4 p.m.
