Opera

Lakeside Little Theatre will screen The MET Live production of “The Last Dream of Frida and Diego,” an emotional and visually stunning opera inspired by the lives of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, in Spanish, Sunday and Monday, June 14 and 15, 4 p.m. Tickets, 350 pesos, available at the LCS box office or via the LCS website.

Rigoberto Navarro and Efren Gonzalez will hold a sculpture and painting exhibition, “Two Perspectives, One Territory,” at the Ajijic Museo de Arte, Flores Magon 3, in Ajijic, Sunday, May 31, 4 p.m. Free admission. Films
Sunday, May 31, the Centro para la Cultura y las Artes de la Ribera (CCAR) will screen two Mexican films, 6 to 8 p.m.: “Para Toda La Vida,” a short drama by director Fernanda Camacho (2026), and “No Gracias, Ya No Fumo,” a comedia feature by director Diego Toussaint.
