Fine Arts Guild
The Lake Chapala Fine Artists Guild holds the first art collective exhibition at the newly renovated auditorium in Ajijic, Friday, March 3, 2 to 6 p.m., with a special “Meet the Artists” event from 3 to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, March 4, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Bare Stage
Bare Stage Theatre presents “Jonas & Barry in the Home” by Norm Foster as its next production February 24 to 26.
Musical at LLT
Lakeside Little Theatre’s next production is the musical “Side by Side,” which opens Friday, February 17 and runs through February 28.
ASA updates
• Ajijic Society of the Arts (ASA) celebrated one year since Bethany Putnam was elected president at its monthly membership meeting February 6. Membership has risen from 138 to more than 320 members in the last year, some 85 of whom are Mexican citizens.
Book Signing
Ardelle Holden signs books at La Bella Vida Friday, February 3, with live music by Joel Tallboy and Louie Pavo, plus refreshments, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cynthia DuBois will show her new art that day as well.

Claudia Nery exhibits new work at Open Studio, Saturday, January 28, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. San Luis 305, Riberas del Pilar, corner of San Lucas. Special guest is Angel Ross.
