Tourists are back. And while traveling the roads of Mexico, they may find them sometimes intimidating, confusing but always of semiotic wonder.
There are no north-south-east-west signs you’d find north of the border and some roads are identified with two different number signs, one local and one federal, all of which will render a two-hour drive into six, most of which is searching for U-turns (which are usually six kilometers beyond your missed ramp—that’s 12 kilometers back to your mistake).
