- On Thursday, March 9, 1:30 p.m., Spencer McMullen, an Amsoc member and experienced attorney in Mexican law with offices in Guadalajara and Ajijic, will discuss Mexican wills, estate planning, beneficiary clauses and tax consequences for people living in Mexico. He notes that while expats may have a will in their home countries, in some cases it is highly recommended to have a Mexican one as well. This ensures a smooth interaction between the two countries’ laws, he says.

- Eliza Osher of the Center of Meditation in Guadalajara has proposed morning meditation classes at the Amosc club house.
