The American School Foundation of Guadalajara is presenting an English-language play in collaboration with its 7-12th grade students, Thursday-Saturday, November 2-4.
Part of the proceeds will go to Reign Music, a non-profit which brings music education to children being treated for serious illnesses.
“Dream, A Circus Tale,” created by magician Javier Natera and circus artist Guillermo Mendez with the student body of the American School, tells the tale of the Sullivan Sisters’ Circus and their struggles to make ends meet and create something beautiful during the dark days of the Great Depression in the United States.
Five performances will be staged at the American School (Colomos 2100, Colonia Providencia) on Thursday, November 2, 7 p.m.; Friday, November 3, 3:30 and 7 p.m.; and Saturday, November 4, 1 and 7 p.m. Tickets are 80 pesos for adults, 60 for students.
