Lakeside restaurants have been hard hit over the last few months with fewer customers as expat residents headed north-of-the-border to visit family and escape the heat.
The Guadalajara Reporter has decided, in conjunction with local eateries, to give a boost to dining out with the “Dine Out at Lakeside Raffle.” Raffle prizes are three shots at a 3-day, 4-night stay for two people at a Puerto Vallarta-area hotel. Drawings will be held on or about August 16, September 13 and October 11, 2012. The August prize is a stay at the Hotel Villa del Palmar.
To enter, dine at any of the participating restaurants noted in the ad on page 12 of this edition (more may be added during the run of the raffle) and either on your dinner ticket, or an alternative option offered by the restaurant, write your name and local telephone number on the back of the ticket and drop it in the plastic jug (see photo) located near the cash register at each eatery.
A local dignitary will draw the winning ticket each month and a video will be posted on our website: www.theguadalajarareporter.com. Winners will be contacted by the Reporter and receive their hotel reservation certificate in a ceremony at the restaurant their ticket came from. Hotel stays will be during valid August 15 to November 15.
