Sponsored by Open Circle, Dr. Donald Aiken will present a Power Point lecture on global warming, Sunday, November 18, 10:30 a.m. to noon, at Club Exotica located at the back of El Jardin Restaurant on the Ajijic plaza.
Aiken, considered one of the world’s leading experts on global warming, has contributed to important renewable energy policy advances that have been adopted by 29 states in the United States and the European Union. The talk, “Global Warming, Transitioning Mexico to Renewable Energy” and “Ajijic, the Solar Capital of Mexico,” is based on his recent invited opening and closing presentations at international conferences in Mexico City and Guadalajara.
Aiken and his wife Pia have lived in Ajijic for five years and were the first to construct a solar home at Lakeside.
