The Casi Nuevo consignment and thrift shop in Riberas del Pilar has announced the appointment of a new manager, beginning Monday, August 17.
Current manager Shirley Kollin will be leaving Casi Nuevo after running the shop for a year. She will be returning to the United States later this month with her husband.
The new manager of the shop is Karen Richardson, a long-time area resident, whose former career was in merchandising and finance, in which she holds degrees. She has already started to plan for an orderly transition.
Casi Nuevo supports three lakeside charities with sales of donated and consigned merchandise. It is located on the Carretera across from the 7-Eleven.
