At Christ Church Episcopal, Fr. Danny Borkowski was kept busy blessing the congregation’s pack of pampered pets. One of the dogs, Fiona Zeigler, celebrated her first birthday with the gang by sharing a meatloaf “cake” with the others.
St. Andrew’s Anglican Deacon Don Snell and Senior Warden Wayne Rudy join in the blessing of Martini, the young burro from Yves’ Restaurant. Martini’s mother was so frazzled by the 70 dogs waiting in the church garden that she had a private blessing outside in the street.
