Chavurah Chapala holds community Passover Seder

Chavurah Chapala will be holding its Community Pasover Seder this year at La Nueva Posada (Donato Guerra 9, Ajijic). The Seder begins promptly at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 22.

The Passover Seder is the traditional celebration of the freedom of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt and is one of the most widely observed of all Jewish holidays. The Seder is a dinner during which certain religious rituals are performed. Chief among them is the recitation of the Haggadah (“the telling” in Hebrew), a service that describes in detail the story of the Exodus from Egypt.

The cost of the evening, including tax and gratuity, will be 450 pesos.
