Pure water for Chapala Red Cross

Chapala’s Cruz Roja medical clinic can now depend upon a steady and low-cost supply of sanitary water thanks to the generosity of part-time lakeside resident Jerry Fields who picked up the bill for purchasing a purification system.

The equipment acquired from E-Water de Guadalajara, valued at 100,000 pesos, has the capacity to purify up to 200 full-size, 19-liter water bottles per day.

Board President Yolanda Martínez also gratefully acknowledged the support of company manager Paúl Ramírez for providing technical support and training for the Red Cross staff, and Chapala Simapa Director Felipe Pérez for assisting with the installation of roof top holding tanks and connection pipes.
