The Tepehua Community Center held its annual Fools Wanted bash at the Sunrise Restaurant in Riberas del Pilar on April Fools Day.
Sunrise owner Lupe Arizaga and his staff joined in the fun. There were prizes and a choice of western and Mexican fare. Tables were waited on by volunteer jesters as they served up Lupe’s margaritas, the best (and strongest!) at Lakeside.
Moonyeen King, president of the Board of the Tepehua Centro Comunitario thanks Chief Fool Harvey Bernier and his jesters Michael and Michelle Bell, the roving bikers who grace Lakeside every year. A special thanks to Allen Graham, who has donated his art two years in a row – his wonderful work was sold before it hit the floor.
Moonyeen and Harvey will see you next year ... same place, same time, same fools.
