The Culinary Arts Society of Ajijic (CASA) celebrated its 2017 Awards Banquet with a four-course dinner at their new meeting venue, Hotel Villa Montecarlo, March 26. Cooking-related gifts were presented to many deserving cooks.
Four members took home CASA’s “Bing” Award for winning three first places in a calendar year. This award was created 33 years ago by the late Mrs. Bing Horn of the famous Bing ice cream company in Guadalajara. The winners were Judith Greenberg, Michele Lococo, Laure Hilden and Monica Molloy.
CASA’s next meeting is Monday, April 16, when the categories are “food truck meals cooking with a partner” main course and “food truck desserts cooking with a partner.” For more information, contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
