Resurfacing on the Chapala-Guadalajara highway restarted earlier this week on the section leading from the top of the pass between Ixtlahuacan and Chapala, heading toward the Libramiento Chapala-Ajijic.
As of Wednesday evening, one lane was being dug up and totally repaved. Expect slower traffic along this section of the highway for the next few weeks.
