An Affair of the Heart, the fifth annual fund raiser for Villa Infantil, a home for abused, abandoned and orphaned children on the south side of Lake Chapala takes place Saturday, February 9, 12:30 p.m. at La Huerta Eventos.
This event is the home’s major local fundraiser, allowing Villa Infantil to operate throughout the year.
Support from the local community will allow the home to carry on their important work during 2019.
Villa Infantil is located on the southwest shore of Lake Chapala about 9.5 kilomters past Jocotepec on the highway toward Mazamitla.
The event includes music and dancing courtesy of the children, a lunch of fresh salads, a cash bar, a 50-50 raffle, and silent and live auctions. A concierge service and professional sound system are employed in this year’s event, which will incorporate a Valentine’s theme.
