Being thankful doesn’t come easily for some of us, but God says to cultivate thankfulness. How do you cultivate something? You work at it, you nourish it, and you do whatever it takes to make it thrive. God is good and merciful. The price that Christ paid so that you could be redeemed is given to you by grace. His grace is so amazing and because it covers us, we truly are the most blessed people on the face of the earth!
Brother John Linton from South Africa will be presenting the message. A pot-luck dinner will follow the service to allow those who wish to know John and Ingrid Linton better.

Lakeside Presbyterian
Sunday, March 31, Dr. Wayne Cook takes his sermon from Nehemiah 8:5-6. After Nehemiah built a wall around Jerusalem, much-needed revival broke out in the land. Revival means to give back life. Seldom in modern times have we so desperately needed new life among the people of God. Younger generations seem disinterested in the faith of their parents and grandparents. Churches are closing; prayer and Bible study are considered irrelevant. Are we watching the demise of Christianity, or could God send another Awakening among us?
Saturday morning classes continue: Computer, Sewing and English as a Second Language (ESL). The LPC nurse is on-site Mondays, 1 to 3 p.m., and Tuesday mornings.
Seniors’ Social Drop-In is Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and includes a light lunch, games and fun.
Communion is offered immediately after services on non-communion Sundays (2nd and 4th).

Abundant Life Church
Have you ever struggled to understand the Bible? When we consider that the Bible is set historically in a different culture it is no wonder. Many struggle to understand the Mexican culture that they live in today. The struggle doesn’t mean that we should give up. Sunday, March 31 Pastor Gary challenges and helps equip us to understand the Bible and what God wants to speak to us today. God not only wants us to understand his Word, he expects us to obey it.
Abundant Life Church is affiliated with the Assemblies of God of Mexico and has services for everyone. Worship service in English is held Sundays, 10 a.m., and Bible Study, Wednesdays, 3 p.m. Spanish-language services are Sundays, noon. Spanish Bible studies are Wednesday, 6:45 p.m. A children’s ministry is held Saturday, noon, and bilingual youth meet Saturday, 6 p.m. Once a month, the women meet for a time of fellowship and the study of the Word of God (time and date announced each month). Christ Church Lakeside
Christ Church Lakeside – the little church with a BIG heart – a parish of the Diocese of the West in the Anglican Church of Mexico, will observe the fourth Sunday in Lent, March 31 by celebrating the Holy Eucharist at 11 a.m. in La Huerta Events Center. Rev. Jim Powers will celebrate and give a message “Lost and Found” based on Luke 15:1-3, 11b-32.

Little Chapel by the Lake
Sunday, March 31, Pastor Lahry Sibley will continue to expose “Experiencing God,” up close and personal. He will focus on a text that most of us know about, but pay no attention to. Even fewer are committed to live it, individually, and as a congregation: Matthew 25:32, “And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats.”

Tuesday, April 2, Bible studies in the books of Acts and Romans are at 10 a.m. Also on Tuesday, Little Chapel will hold a food distribution in San Juan Tecomatlan at 4 p.m., leaving from the Chapel at 3 p.m.
Wednesday, April 3, Fun with Music will sing at Mi Casita assisted living care center in San Antonio Tlayacapan, 4-5 p.m. Carpooling from the Chapel at 3:30 p.m.
Also on Wednesday, at 5:30 p.m., an inspirational movie based on the true story of Dido Elizabeth Belle, an 18th-century English woman of mixed race, raised by an aristocratic great-uncle, will be shown in the fellowship room.

San Andrés Mass
Padre Everardo Sánchez will officiate for the foreign congregation at the 9 a.m. English-language Mass, Sunday, March 31.

St. Andrew’s Anglican

The Lady’s and Men’s luncheon is Tuesday, April 2, 12:30 p.m., at Arileo’s Restaurant in west Ajijic.
Every Sunday, Operation Feed, the program supported by St. Andrew’s, welcomes donations of non-perishable food items. Boxed milk and empty cardboard egg cartons are especially welcome, in addition to rice, beans, pasta, lentils, garbanzos, oats, oil and salt. The parish distributes the donations to Lakeside’s neediest families.
Every donation or consignment made to St. Andrew’s resale shop, Todo Bueno, benefits the Outreach Ministry of St. Andrew’s. Todo Bueno is located on the Carretera, just west of S&S Auto in Riberas del Pilar. Open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Fellowship
Lakeside Community Fellowship is a new and vibrant evangelical Christian fellowship, meeting every Sunday, 10 a.m. at Hidalgo 441, in the new Bravo Theater directly adjacent to the Carretera.
All are welcome to attend. Youth and children’s Sunday school classes are available during the service.
Our mission is “Serving Christ ... serving the community.” In light of this, we have very practical projects for those in need within the community, combined with the biblical message of God’s love through Jesus Christ.

Home Church Int’l
We senior citizens quite probably remember a trading benefit called S&H Green Stamps. These were dispensed at grocery stores upon purchasing items. These little stamps came in accordance with the total figure of our purchases. We pasted these stamps in booklets. We would then take them to the S&H Redemption Center to trade them for some household items. Thus, we see the reason for the entire transaction.
When studying the Bible, we find this word redemption often. In both the Old and New Testaments the word from the original text meant “to buy back.” Thus the S&H store would buy back your stamps with merchandise they stocked. Most Christians and Jews remember from Psalms 107:2 the verse, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.” Familiar also from Galatians 3:13, “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us.” If you have surrendered and accepted Jesus Christ as both Lord and Savior, you have been bought by God through Christ Jesus on the cross. Kirtan Gathering
A Kirtan Gathering will be held Sunday, April 7, 2:45 to 4 p.m. at Namaste Lake Chapala, a non-dual community at Angel Flores 5, in Ajijic. Experience the wondrous tranquility of Live Kirtan music followed by a silent meditation. All are welcome and no experience is necessary.
