The Cruz Roja Medical Information Kit provides a way for first responders to get your personal information quickly and efficiently.
The kit was designed by lakeside medical and ambulance personnel to give them the information they need, in the order they need it, to help them assess and treat you.
A class to explain the kits is being organized on Sunday, December 15, 3-4 p.m. at Mision del Lago (by the pool).
At the end of the session attendees will leave with a Medical Information Kit, ready to use in case of a medical emergency. This kit contains a vial of life, a refrigerator magnet, a wallet-sized medical information card, a bilingual list of emergency phone numbers to call, along with a list of Spanish emergency medical phrases to use. The cost for this kit is only 50 pesos.
