José Milagro, an eight-year-old boy from Chapala, is finally on a pathway to standing and walking on his own, following successful surgery this week at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Mexico City.
Family and Lake Chapala Shrine Club sponsors gathered to give him a joyful welcome home Wednesday, July 22, as he was delivered by ambulance to the temporary recovery quarters provided by the family of Chapala Expat Liaison Héctor España Ramos.
