Lake Chapala Society grounds reopen for activities

The Lake Chapala Society (LCS) campus reopened this week after a six-month hiatus prompted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

pg16aGreeters posted just inside the main gate at 16 de Septiembre and Ramón Corona and the south entrance at the lakefront got things off to a roaring start, signing in 151 visitors on Monday, September 21, and 170 the following day. Use of face masks is required for admittance to the premises, with social distancing practices and frequent hand sanitization strongly encouraged.

Early bird crowds were most interested in regaining access to the library and consulting at the Vote from Abroad assistance booth, while others stopped in to use the on-site ATM or seek information and membership registrations at the customer service office.
