Lake Chapala Baptists

Sermon: “He Is Exalted,” from Philippians 2:9: Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name.

Last Lord’s day, Pastor Linton gave us a whole sermon based on the Name above all Names, Jesus Christ. “Prince of Peace, the righteous One, Son of the living God, Son of Man… All the names of Christ are noble and honorable,” our Pastor said, “but the title Jesus Christ is attributed to Him for who He was, incarnated.

“That special name has special meaning in our world yesterday and today. It holds the promise of eternal life. And to Him is given dominion everlasting. Jesus Christ is the exact expression of the Father, and if we are ever to know God, we must study the earthly life of Jesus Christ.

“The sweetness of Christ, His divinity, His humanity, draw us to Him. Even the consequences of our sins are in His hands. Do you know your Savior? Go to your closet and seek Him!
