Did you know that simply looking at flowers can boost happiness? So come, enjoy and be happy as you immerse yourself in an Ajijic home full of creativity and blooms at “A Festival of Flowers,” the Lakeside Garden Guild’s annual fundraising show, Friday, January 30, 2 to 5 p.m. at a private residence at Juan Alvarez 1 in Ajijic.
This special event is designed to inspire and educate, showcasing imaginative floral designs created with beautiful local flowers and foliage. A live painting demonstration by Efren Gonzalez and floral arrangement sales are part of the event.
Tickets, 500 pesos, include appetizers and one beverage and can be purchased at Fenix Realty.
Proceeds will go toward the Guild’s annual community project. In 2024, the Guild contributed to the donation of HP computers to Escuela Secundaria Foránea 52 in San Juan Cosalá. Last year, the Guild donated 50,000 pesos to the construction of the new Cruz Roja clinic, as well as contributing 10,000 pesos to support a botanical garden along the Libramiento bypass.
