Eight lakeside area altruistic organizations were the recipients of grants from the St. Andrew’s Anglican Church Outreach program, handed out May 7 at the conclusion of the regular Sunday service.
Lake Chapala Duplicate Bridge Club members, generally, have many and varied interests. Attendance is down this month as many members negotiate river cruises in Europe and elsewhere.
The first of five weekly seminars tied to the theme of future planning for senior citizens will be held at Saturday, May 6, 10 a.m., at St. Andrews Anglican Church, Calle San Lucas 19 in Riberas del Pilar.
