St. Andrew’s Anglican

More than our pious words, more than our masked faces, it’s our hands and our feet – how we use them, where they take us – that best reveal who we really are. Maybe that’s why, when Jesus appeared to his frightened, distraught disciples on the night of Easter Day, the first thing he did was to show them His hands and feet. That’s the theme of  Father Winston Welty’s sermon this week at St. Andrews – “Hands and Feet Don’t Lie.” St. Andrew’s is back to their season schedule of a single Sunday service at 10 a.m. each week, followed by a fellowship time. The church is located at Calle San Lucas 19, just a block south of the Carretera in Riberas del Pilar.

Unitarians

The Lake Chapala Unitarian Universalist Fellowship meets each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at Sta. Margarita 113 in Riberas del Pilar. The Fellowship will celebrate Earth Day on Sunday, April 22. Kathy Koches will be the service leader and the talk – entitled “Water, Water, Everywhere” – will be given by Bob Koches.

Water, so abundant on the Earth’s surface and even in our bodies, is also a precious resource. Koches will ask the question, “Is there a way that we can ground our resource management in our UU principles and values?” A coffee hour will follow. For more information please call 766-1119.

The Lake Chapala Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is a welcoming congregation.
