Shrine record

A record setting Dine with the Shrine event was held at Restaurant Number Four on Wednesday, February 20, thanks to the enthusiastic support of the lakeside community!

On short notice, restaurant owners Kim Everest and Glen Roy volunteered to open their restaurant on a Wednesday (their normal day to close), and hold the event to support the Lake Chapala Shrine Club. It was a great success.

Two-hundred-and-four special Shrine dinners were ordered between noon and 8 p.m. This beats the previous record by about 50 plates! The restaurant donated the proceeds from these dinners to the Lake Chapala Shrine Club to support the Club’s activities, most importantly helping Lakeside children with special medical needs either at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Mexico City or locally. Many thanks to Number 4 and to those 204 special folks who came to the event to support the Shriners.
