Open Circle

Noris Benet presents “The Stage of Meaning: The Sunset of Our Lives” at Open Circle, Sunday, September 19, 10:30 a.m. at the Lake Chapala Society.

A fulfilled life is the result of finding meaning in the latest stage of our life. If we have come this far, life is telling us that we are having the privilege to discover a deeper understanding of what our life was for. We can redirect attention to see the threads that have run throughout our lives: forces, images, themes that can be traced from the beginning of our consciousness until the present. This reflective process allows us to comprehend the value of our lives not because of our accomplishments but because there were archetypal, unconscious forces guiding us (which we probably were not aware of as they happened).
