Tribute
The Lucky Dog Rescue and Adoption Center this week paid tribute to one of its most invaluable volunteers, Janet Kilburn. In a birthday post on social media, the center highlighted her dedication since day one, stating, “There is truly no job she hasn’t done.”
The tribute noted that she has “cared for countless dogs, vaccinated, dewormed, picked up endless poop, fostered and given her whole heart to this mission.” It concluded, “Thank you, Janet, for being a constant example of compassion, commitment, and selfless service. You are a mentor to us all — and Lucky Dog would not be the same without you.”
Matching grant
