Turn out the lights!

For the sixth year running, participating cities, citizens and businesses around the world will curtail their energy consumption for one hour, Saturday, March 31, in a show of support for conservation and to raise awareness for climate change.  Begun in Sydney, Australia in 2007 by the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF), Earth Hour by last year had grown to include over 5,200 municipalities worldwide. This year, join in from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (participant’s local time) by shutting down all non-essential lights and electronics.
