This is a subversive, musical, and fun show not to be missed. Seating is limited.

La Gata-Foro Bar is at Matamoros 869-A. Reservations: 322-191-7478.

• Another holiday presentation is from Sutton Lee Seymour, known as the “Robin Williams of Drag.”

New York City’s campiest live-singing queen of stage and screen is now touring her best-selling shows in the United States, Mexico, Brazil and Europe – and also the seven seas with Atlantis Events! Her shows are always filled with great vocals, dance, and some of the craziest antics you have ever seen.

Sutton presents her last two shows of “Stocking Stuffer,” a comedic look at the holidays through jokes and original song, at The Palm on Tuesday, December 31 and Friday, January 3, 9:30 p.m. She will be back at The Palm with her new show, “Booby Tunes,” January 7, playing Tuesdays and Fridays, 9:30 p.m.

• Meanwhile, David Hernandez and Effie Passero return to The Palm for the second year in a row, coming together to create a modern-day Sonny & Cher.

Hernandez possesses vocals worthy of any stage, be it from the small theater to Carnegie Hall. Effie, who is also a songwriter, will sing her way into your heart with original and cover material. The two harmonize effortlessly, and the result is pure gold. A huge hit last year, they are guaranteed to up their game this holiday season. Their show opens on Thursday, December 26 and runs through January 6.

Toys for Tots

Monday, January 6, 2020 is Three Kings Day in Mexico, known as El Día de Reyes. The date commemorates The Epiphany on the church calendar – the 12th day after Christmas – when the three Magi arrived bearing gifts for the newborn baby Jesus. In Mexico, children traditionally receive gifts on Three King’s Day and often write letters to the Magi requesting a toy or gift that they would like.

Each and every year in Puerto Vallarta, Casa Magna Marriott Resort, The Navy League and local businesses join forces to distribute thousands of toys to children who would not receive a gift on Three King’s Day.

This year’s Toys for Tots distribution to the neediest communities in the Banderas Bay region – from Cabo Corrientes to Riviera Nayarit – will take place on Monday, January 6. If you would like to be part of one of the most heartwarming traditions in Vallarta, come to the parking lot of the Casa Magna Marriott in Marina Vallarta at 7 a.m. and help bring smiles to the children of Vallarta.
